NAFIC Impact Update: Meals Have Arrived in Jamaica!

02/05/2026 12:20 PM | Brad Maenner (Administrator)

We are thrilled to share some incredible news regarding the food packing event from our last annual conference. As we prepare for the upcoming Lenten Season—a time of reflection and service—we have received confirmation that the fruits of your labor have reached their destination.

Feeding the Poorest of the Poor

The 13,152 Vitafood meals packed by our dedicated members have officially arrived in Montego Bay, Jamaica. These life-saving supplies are now in the hands of our ministry partners, the Compassionate Franciscan Sisters of the Poor.

Supporting Hurricane Recovery

These meals are more than just nutrition; they are a vital lifeline. Our partners in Jamaica are still working tirelessly to repair and rebuild after the devastating losses caused by the recent hurricane. Your contribution provides the fuel they need to continue their mission of serving the most vulnerable in their community.

A Heartfelt Thank You

This achievement was made possible through our partnership with Cross Catholic Outreach and, most importantly, through your hands and hearts.

"Thank you so much for being a part of serving the poorest of the poor! We are very grateful for your support." — Cross Catholic Outreach

Thank you to every member who donned a hairnet, filled a bag, and showed what the fraternal spirit is all about. We look forward to continuing this legacy of service together.
